The All-American Rejects are a popular pop-rock band. This is one of their earlier album covers, and I still think it's one of the most effective. By using a simplistic colour scheme and not having too much attention on any one thing the audience spend more time taking in all the details. I like the use of bright white on the black background, which immediately captures attention. However, I'm not massively keen on the font choice, stylistically I think it presents the band to be more 'rock' than 'indie-pop-rock' and could lure in the wrong sort of target audience. I must remember the importance of font choice, because my song is technically 'acoustic-rock' so I need something to reflect that vibe. I love the use of utopian fantasy within the still, the amgibiguous characters look like they're a community, meeting the audience needs by connoting that every All American Reject fan has a place in society.
