Having already produced a diagram of narrative shots, I turned my attention to the performance element of the video, which is arguably the most important. I have decided to keep the shots fairly simple and not overly edited, as this fits with the genre of music better. I will also use a lot of close ups to envoke an emotional reaction from the audience, however, I want to showcase the fact he can play the guitar as well. I don't think I will shoot the performance in loads of different locations, maybe just 3 or 4 so I have a wide enough range of shots to pick the best ones, but not too many that the audience become overwhelmed and confused.
