Research - Location Ideas (Performance)

I have basic ideas as to a location, which have been inspired though my watching of music videos. I know that I want to set  some, if not most, of my performance outside as I feel it fits in with the acoustic vibe. Next to my house is a forest with pretty rivers and fields surrounding it, which would give me a lot of scope when it came to choosing where to place my performer. As seen in Rihanna's We found love, Adele's Someone like you and You Me At Six's Stay with me having a performance outside is popular with artists aiming at the same audience market as me. It's also a lot more practical as I don't have access to a professional recording studio. I also noticed, whilst watching these videos, that it's fairly commonplace to have the performer to the edge of the frame (see the pictures from Rihanna and Adele), in order to showcase the scenery, and make the songer look smaller. This is something I'll be trying in my own performance footage next week because I think it could add another dynamic to the video as a whole
