Ancillary Task Research - CD Covers - The Script

The Script are a pop band, who are extreamly popular with my target audience. Therefore, I thought looking at their CD covers would be a wise idea to gain inspiration to meet my niche audience's needs. I really like the minimalistic design on the single cover, and the two hands play on the utopian pleasures idea of community and intensity - connoting that the songs on the album will adress these ideas. I like how (similar to the you me at six tour poster) there isn't a main person on the album, allowing more members of the target audience to relate. The hands used are a girls and a boys, connoting that the album is for both genders, but could also hint as to the content of the song.
