The Strangers - Reflection

Today we completed our short edit of 'It was a sin' and overall, although it's a little short, I don't think we did too badly. Our synchronisation was all in time, and we managed to use a good variety of shots. However, I think we could have used editing effects more cleverly - for instance feathering the edges of clips or changing the saturation / highlights and shadows in them to make them more aesthetically pleasing for the target audience, and allowing it to fit better into the 'indie / alternative' genre. This is definitely something I must bear in mind when editing my own footage as within the 'rock / indie / acoustic' genre, the look of the video is very important in relaying the message behind the song.
