Yesterday I went around my location to take photos, so as to see how it looks on film. This was a vital part of my planning because it determined the amount of artifical light I would have needed to bring with me, as well as providing me with shot angles and sizes.
I really love how the forest looks, the old branches and moss on the bridge looks almost like a fairytale, idealic scene - perfect for my create of utopia as well as for the performance element. I think the way in which the sunlight catches the branches will take away any need for artifical lighting - which is useful as it's difficult to access, also, because it's a public location and I'll be filming during 'school hours' I don't need to request permission from anywhere. I also love the shot of the bench underneath the tree (left), which will be where I'll film another take of the performance.
